PASEN advocacy services are available to members only and is billed separately at $150/year.
Advocacy services are billed per hour at PASEN’s current rates.
📂 Records Review: $50/hour
We review your child’s evaluations, IEPs, 504 Plans, and other school documentation to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or compliance issues. Our advocates explain what these documents mean and help you understand how they affect your child’s educational rights.
📞 Consultations (Phone or Email): $50/hour
We provide phone and email consultations to answer your questions, review specific concerns, and guide you toward the most effective course of action.
💬 Advocacy Coaching: $50/hour
Learn how to confidently advocate for your child. We’ll guide you on what to say, how to prepare, and how to speak the school’s language effectively.
📘 Educational Planning Support: $50/hour
Plan for the future with our help. We assist with goal-setting, long-term planning, and ensuring your child’s supports are designed for meaningful progress.
🧑🏫 IEP, Mediation, or Other Meeting: $75/hour
We attend IEP meetings, resolution sessions, mediation conferences, and manifestation determination reviews with you to ensure your child’s needs are effectively represented. We help you prepare in advance, provide guidance during the meeting, and support you in documenting outcomes for follow-up.
📝 Complaint Filing: $75/hour
We help families file complaints with the state or the Office for Civil Rights when schools fail to meet legal obligations. We guide you through documentation, strategy, and submission.
📂 Non-Attorney Advocacy Support: $150/hour
Specialized advocacy for due process, family court-related correspondence, or other matters requiring higher-complexity work beyond standard meetings or mediation.
How Membership and Advocacy Work
Step 1: Purchase a Membership
Join PASEN by purchasing a membership. This gives you access to our professional advocacy services and member-only support.
Step 2: Fill out Required Forms
Complete the New Client Intake Form and the Client Contract. Both must be submitted before we can begin your services.
Step 3: Watch for Your Advocate's Email
Your advocate will email you after all forms are received. If you don’t hear from us within 48 hours, please call 480-469-7505.
